Mondays

3:00pm – 3:45pm

ALL CHILDREN AND YOUTH ARE WELCOME

– And parents too!

FREE OF CHARGE

WE CARE! beginning April 19th

email: Jacqueline majafischer@gmail.com

The Caring Club teaches children to be more thoughtful, empathetic, and sensitive through encouraging children to focus less on themselves, and more on our community, nation and our world.

In the Caring Club we will learn (in a fun way) about how much of the world lives. This will in turn help cultivate gratitude and empathy.

Some areas of exploration will include:

Food and water: looking at how food and water is distributed throughout the world.

Education – how the education systems work in third world countries

Differences – how we can be more tolerate of religious and ethnic differences

Ways we can make a Difference.

Children will also enjoy reaching out to others through participating in projects such as: *Assembling kits for MCC

*Writing letters to children living in third world countries

*or collecting for local Christmas hampers.

The parent volunteer facilitating the Caring Club is Jacqueline Fischer. Jacqueline has been working with and volunteering with children for twenty years. She has run a Caring Club at a local school for the past two years. Her club was recently featured as “Caring Club of the Month” by the international Care Club organization.
